Dr Meaney grew up in rural South Dakota. He earned his undergraduate and medical degree at the University of South Dakota. Then he spent 5 years in the United States Navy where he completed his internship in OB/GYN. In 1998 he then entered and completed a Family Practice Residency in Sioux Falls SD. He has midwestern values and believes that most problems can be solved by listening to the patient.
